The brief
Manufacture had to start before the client had finalised path widths and the exact planter layout. Waiting for those decisions would have pushed the planters onto the critical path and delayed the wider build programme.
Our response
We committed the Q-kerb system into production early and manufactured a spare length or two so the installers could trim on site once the final layout was confirmed. Cross-restraint struts held perfect parallel alignment across a 1:40 fall on the roof deck, and our numerous restraint strategies let each floor adapt to its own conditions without a redesign.
