Rooftop Pavilion

A rooftop amenity pavilion above a London office building needed a perimeter planting scheme to define the deck, add privacy, and withstand high winds and roof loading limits.

The brief
The roof could only accept a shallow soil profile and the planters had to be lightweight, yet look substantial enough to screen the parapet. Access was restricted to a goods lift with a 2.4m maximum length.
Our response
We supplied a modular matte black powder-coated aluminium system with integrated hardwood benches and pre-drilled drainage. Planters were delivered in flat-pack sections and assembled on site by our specialist installers, then fixed to the roof deck via discrete restraint brackets.
